You might remember a few posts back when I mentioned getting my car back after the accident. Well, turns out that some of the repair stuff wasn’t done quite right – a few of the defrost strips in the rear window didn’t work, and the rear passenger door wasn’t closing properly.
So they took it back again!
The rental car I have is really nice, though – way better than the last one. A 2008 Nissan Altima.
But still – I like my little car.

For those not in the know, this happened to my car about three weeks ago. Someone rear-ended me as I was pulling out of Jess’ neighborhood!
Lemme tell you, it’s a very odd experience driving a hardtop car with no rear window.
Anyway! Progressive is an awesome insurance company, and they hooked me up with a rental car while mine was in the shop. No fees, no deductible, just had to fill the tank when I was done. It was a Nissan something-or-other, nowhere near as cool as my car. It didn’t even have a tape deck, and it was an automatic! Ewwwww.
Anyway, yeah – I’m so happy to be reunited with my car.
