I GOT THE APARTMENT!

*ahem* Sorry, just a tad excited.

So yeah! I was approved for the apartment I applied to! Pretty nifty little one bedroom place, too - comes with all the normal kitchen appliances, a dishwasher… I even get a washer and dryer!

Only $670 a month.

I get the key on Friday, but I still have a few more things to wrap up first. Gotta get the electric transferred to my name, straighten out the internet access - you know, the basics of life.

Jess has already helped me start packing. How awesome is it that we’ve filled almost three boxes with nothing but books and CDs? I Luckily I don’t really have that much stuff, so the move shouldn’t be too bad. I own no furniture, by the way, and yet somehow I’ve already been offered a couch, a loveseat, a recliner, and there was talk of a table. o.O

I don’t have a bed though. Looks like I’ll be air-mattressing it for a while, or sleeping on the couch. Ah well.
